Assets: Can periods be reopened?
In a word, no. Per the My Oracle Support document "How To Reopen a Closed Period In Fixed Assets?" via note ID 1358755.1 it is very clear that getting a period reopened is impossible to do as a supported option from Oracle. I did find a post in the Oracle Community indicating that a datafix was available, but I have been told that there is not currently a datafix available for customers if the period has been closed by accident. There are a few options available in the MOS document, but I am not sure they are viable for every situation.
