Exadata cell hangs running patchmgr

Coming from a new unpublished bug, while running the patchmgr application to start patching Exadata it is possible to encounter a problem with it hanging on a ":Working: DO:" task output.  Drilling down it appears netstat might be running on the node in question, but for the full details visit the article "Exadata Cell Pre-upgrade Hangs" on My Oracle Support via note ID 1926228.1!
