R12.1 RPCs Superseded Again

Back in 2014 I posted a short post about Recommended Patch Collections being superseded for many modules and starting with My Oracle Support note 2102716.1 for "EBS: R12.1: Receivables Recommended Patch Collection (RPC), Feb 2016" you can find other RPCs but an even better idea is to add the document "EBS: R12.1 Latest Oracle Financials Recommended Patch Collections (RPCs)" from article ID 954704.1 to your favorites list in MOS.  This way when there are future updates, you can always stay up to date!

R12.1.3: Workflow error after RPC2

In My Oracle Support document "You Have Encountered An Error In The Worklist Notifications" from note ID 1946243.1 we learn that after applying Recommended Patch Collection 2 (and the prerequisites) an error message including "OANullDBTransactionImpl cannot be cast" is encountered.  What is the problem here?  It seems that this is related to a browser issue, so plan ahead now for when you have to apply RPC2.

R12: Superseded RPCs

How often do you apply product Recommended Patch Collections (RPCs)?  Are you in the middle of applying some RPCs?  Did you know that some RPCs have been superseded within the last few weeks?

R12 EBS RPCs

Continuing the blog spotlight on the EBS Support blog, is a very comprehensive article detailing all of the Recommended Patch Collections released in March for several modules of the EBS system.  Not only do you get the big listing on this page, but included as well is the My Oracle Support note which tracks these RPCs and that you can add it as a favorite so you can stay on top of when content is changed like new RPCs being released!  It might be too late in our R12 implementation to deploy some of these, but I won't be the least bit surprised if we have to apply some of these to our system in the first few months after go live.
