Oracle OpenWorld: Review

Did you enjoy OpenWorld?  Did you get to hit every session you wanted?  Did you not get to go this year?  You are all in luck tonight because I bring you a round up of OpenWorld!  Want to find people that were there attending or that were presenting?  Hit up the #OOW14 stream on Twitter!  Speaking of Twitter, are you following @oracleopenworld?  Did you get to see all the keynotes?  What about the presentations which are already available online?  Have you signed up to make sure you are notified when the Call for Proposals opens next year?

I'm looking forward to submitting my abstracts again, but I'm also looking forward to hearing from you about your experience putting an abstract together and even more to hear you getting selected for the conference so please let me know in the comments!

Oracle OpenWorld 2014 Call for Proposals!

The floodgates have opened for submitting abstracts to this year's Oracle OpenWorld!  I've been able to present for OAUG and Hotsos, but I'm looking to join others at OpenWorld as a presenter this year to continue the journey I've started.  Time to brush up on abstracts that might have been rejected previously, those selected for other conferences, and brand new abstracts that are percolating in my brain for OOW this year!

Hotsos Symposium 2014: Call to arms!

I can realistically say that if I didn't attend the Hotsos Symposium in 2012, I wouldn't be here where I am today with being able to give a presentation to OAUG or celebrating a year of blogging.  That is why I'm happy to help announce that the Hotsos Symposium 2014 call for papers has been opened!  I'll update this post when the Hotsos blog shares this information too, but as they haven't done so yet consider this breaking news!

I'm really tempted to submit an abstract to them again, so I'm sure I'll share that with you too when I do it!

Oracle OpenWorld 13 call for papers

It's that time of year again for Oracle OpenWorld to roll around, and the call for papers has just opened up!  I've submitted a few proposals to OAUG and Hotsos over the past few months, and not only am I going to submit that again for OOW, but I'm going to be working on a completely new proposal from a lot of things I've started blogging about recently.  Have you been looking forward to this event as well?
