R12 Assets: Exchange rate incorrect used in tax book

In the My Oracle Support document "R12 Incorrect Exchange Rate Used For Calculating YTD And Accumulated Depreciation In Tax Book" in note ID 1932466.1 we find out that there are different rates for assets, YTD depreciation, and accumulated depreciation too due to a bug which has had patches released for both R12.1 and R12.2!

11i: Tax button not calculating taxes on invoice

While I usually focus on R12, I believe that it is important to not forget that people are still on 11i, so when I ran across article "11i: Invoice Tax Not Being Computed Via Calculate Tax Button" on My Oracle Support from note ID 2014831.1 I wanted to understand how big of an issue this is.  Now only is there an issue, but this details several different test scenarios that you can add to your testing suites to make sure you do not encounter this type of issue in the future!

R12.1.3 Purchasing: Tax does not default on PO lines

Did you know that there are problems on R12.1.3 with the Purchasing module where information is being lost behind the scenes after hitting the save button?  The MOS document "19176183 Type_1099 Tax Is Not Defaulting To PO Line" from article ID 1991078.1 shows how to replicate this and also what patch is required to fix it too!
